Geoff and Trish Horrocks are passionate about music education, and passionate about building community connections between musicians of all ages and skill level. They believe that everyone can learn to play music, and they have carefully tailored all their teaching materials out of a desire to help students be successful. They also know that teachers are always in need of good-quality and exciting resources.

Whether you are a student, a parent, or a teacher, you will find something here that meets your needs.

Geoff has a special interest in the educational needs of the adult student, and is also widely known across Canada as a premier accompanist for fiddle players. Pianists can gather many interesting chord ideas by listening to his unique accompaniment style on the recordings found on this site. Geoff’s exciting chord colours are often the foundation of the ensemble arrangements we create for string ensembles. In addition to piano, Geoff plays fiddle and guitar and sings.

Trish comes from a varied background, having studied classical violin/viola performance and musicology at UVic and Western University. She has completed several levels of Suzuki teacher training and specializes in teaching students as young as three. Trish has also released two solo albums of fiddle music and appeared on many other artists’ albums. She is in demand across western Canada as an arranger, teacher, adjudicator and clinician.
